The Shagreen helmet is a luxurious version of the Premium helmet.
The headband and triangle are fitted with Galuchat leather. The timeless design of the helmet combines with comfort. This helmet complies with European and American standards, allowing riders to ride in complete safety.
The Eclipse visor gives the helmet a stylish and elegant finish. Its size, larger than a conventional visor, protects you from the sun during riding sessions in the arena or outdoors.
Outer shell
The outer shell of the Antarès riding helmet is made of ABS. Its task is to dissipate the energy generated by impact on the helmet surface. When the helmet hits an object, the shell distributes the shock wave.
The inside of the helmet
The lining is made of EPS (expanded polystyrene). Absorbs energy by compressing upon impact. As a result, the padding becomes much denser and cannot absorb the force a second time because it is a "single impact".
Vents
4 front vents and 2 rear extractors ensure good air circulation. Thermal regulation is therefore improved.
Retention system
This will ensure that the helmet fits snugly to your head and prevents any rotation. All Antarès riding helmets are equipped with 3-point harnesses. The Y-shaped attachment system has wider points to limit helmet rotation. Moreover, the helmets have nylon straps and POM (plastic mixture) buckles.
Helmet inserts
High-quality foams in contact with the rider's head enable a perfect fit of the helmet and optimal comfort. Whether your head shape is round or oval, they will complement the shape of your body. These inner pads are removable and can be removed and cleaned regularly to maintain hygiene. Made in Italy, they are breathable, OEKO-TEX® certified and can be hand washed in warm water.

Eclipse viewfinder
Eclipse visior, intended for female clients. Very fashionable and elegant, inspired by women's hats. It protects women from the sun while emphasizing their femininity. The wide visor is designed to protect the skin from the sun and the aggressions associated with the outdoor climate, without affecting the wide field of vision that is essential in any discipline. The European standard EN1384-2017 requires the visor to bend under load. This is to prevent breakage and injury to the rider. The visor of Antares helmets is therefore deliberately flexible. If deformed, it can be manually manipulated to restore its original shape.
